I’m suddenly finding business cards left in Coeur d’ Alene coffee shops which offer the services of “African-American hairstyles by Rachel”. Since there’s only like four Blacks in the whole of Kootenai County, I’m assuming its the same Rachel.

Thanks Obadiah. We’ve found ourselves pretty overwhelmed this summer with work and various festivities and have yet to put together another episode. We do intend to do more, but as to when that is, neither of us know.

What struck me about the article is the Protestant and Roman Catholic world view described. The Protestants did not mate with the Indians and the Roman Catholics did. Maybe some Protestants did… However it was not the norm nor was it acceptable. On the RC side it is and was acceptable.

IF I may point out, there was an attempt at caling those deep fried trans fat potatoes ‘freedom fries’ in stead of ‘French Fries’ during the initial 9/11 aftermath.

And the French have worked ceaselessly to eliminate ‘le weekend,’ and ‘le Big Mac’ from their language, for decades.

At this stage of our existence as a country and a people, I said over two decades ago, ‘Speaking Spanish in public should be a criminal offense.’

I now think it more than ever.

America for the Anglos.
